Betty Kirin

About the Artist

Betty Kirin, a well-known Denver artist who moved to Colorado from New York City in 1967, has painted since the mid-1970's and has studied with Quang Ho, Kim English, Jim Valone and Jay Moore.

She is the proprietor of Sugarstone Studio, an active, working studio located on historic Old South Gaylord Street in southeast Denver's Washington Park neighborhood, where she creates her paintings, as well as, conducting oil painting classes, workshops and demos for Denver area students.

Betty's paintings have won numerous awards and are displayed in many prestigious corporate collections and numerous art shows, exhibitions, galleries and publications.
